Just got an email about new fees.....

Wonder how this will change trading in tf and dx.....I for sure won't pay $100 to trade the russell--

From email:

The Per Sector Monthly Fee that will be charged starting April 1, 2016 are as follows:

> ICE Futures U.S.: $117 per month - TF, DX
> ICE Europe Energies: $117 per month - ICE Brent Crude Oil

Agree. These are bad news especially for the retail trader - the small guys. The ones who trade a few millions don't care, but for us it's a problem.

I've changed my ICE subscription to delayed data. For options and spreads this is OK. The only market I will probably miss is the Mini Russell.

Best,
Andy

100 bucks for market data? No way man!
I also think that this will affect the market participation of the small retail traders.
And without the large base of the small retail traders (which are usually the ones left holding the bag) it will be funny to see the "big boys" who will fade :)

Regards
Jean

This really is over the top, especially nowadays where the trend goes in a different direction! Personally I don't need realtime data for the ICE markets and Ambush Traders don't need it either but especially those who actually need it (day traders) will be the ones suffering the most looking at a per-trade cost. Strange move from the ICE!
