Beginner Trader

Our goal for you as a beginner trader, is for you to build a solid foundation.  In order to achieve this, you must have a direction that will lead you on the right trading path.  Let's begin.

It all starts with a simple philosophy and that is, "a chart, is a chart, is a chart" no matter what the market.  We feel strongly enough about this concept that we offer you two FREE eBooks, giving you very detailed explanations of the "The Law of Charts" (TLOC) and the "Traders Trick Entry" (TTE), along with our FREE weekly Chart Scan Newsletter that shows you examples and invaluable trading articles. Sign up at the top of this page, and within seconds you'll receive an email in your inbox, please confirm to receive your free EBooks. After studying the TLOC and TTE, and you still feel the need for a further, deeper explanation, then we highly recommend Joe Ross' recorded webinar, "Trading All Markets Recorded Webinar". Also, sign up under our free "Members Only" area and join us in our trading forum.

The next logical step is your first lesson in trading and that is with our eBook titled "Futures - From The Beginning".  This eBook is from the beginning and will give you the basics.  You'll gain more knowledge in just this one EBook than some traders who have been in the industry for years!

Also, a trading plan is essential for every trader, and is a critical part to building your solid foundation.  Without a trading plan, you are setting yourself up for failure.  Under our "Members Only" section you will find a checklist of items that should be included within your trading plan.

Before making "real money" trades, we strongly suggest you start off by using a simulated trading program (SIMS).

At any time, you need to ask questions, please feel free to contact us.

Once you are familiar with the basics and trading terminology, your next step will be to determine which market(s) and type of trading that would best fit you.  Feel free to navigate through our Intermediate and Advanced Traders page.

If this lifestyle appeals to you and you are serious, Trading is a Business will help solidify your foundation and put you in the right mindset, you must treat "trading" as a business.

Derivative transactions, including futures, are complex and carry a high degree of risk. They are intended for sophisticated investors and are not suitable for everyone. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results, and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results. For more information, see the Risk Disclosure Statement for Futures and Options.
